Members of the team of the Ukrainian Association of Humanitarian Demining Operators took part in the International Donor Conference on Humanitarian Demining
The second day of the conference was provided for technical discussions between experts from the countries participating in the conference.
Issues of financing humanitarian demining in Ukraine were also discussed. The financing system will be multi-circuit, multi-level and decentralized.
Representatives of the United States of America, Canada, the EU, as well as NATO and other international organizations confirmed their interest in financing demining projects and assured their support.
In addition, technical developments in the field of demining were presented, including equipment, unmanned aircrafts and vehicles, as well as software.
The HDO Association presented the developments of its members – equipment manufacturers and software developers.
Representatives of the HDO Association in communication with the participants repeatedly emphasized on non-technical survey of potentially contaminated lands using high-tech equipment.
