About association

“The large-scale invasion has resulted in unprecedented contamination of Ukrainian land with explosive remnants of war and large-scale destruction of infrastructure. The state has mobilized all available resources to resist, yet in the face of such brutal and destructive aggression, they are never sufficient.

By joining forces with experts who possess knowledge, competencies, and a genuine commitment to serve the country in these difficult times, we founded the Association in 2023. Its mission is to promote innovation in the field of humanitarian demining, to challenge outdated practices, transform ineffective systems, and implement effective solutions that will accelerate the restoration of safety on Ukrainian soil and the recovery of the nation’s economic potential,” - Anushavan Arutyunyan, Chairman of the Board of the NGO Ukrainian Association for Humanitarian Demining and Recovery.

Our mission is to unite people and organizations whose knowledge, expertise, and technologies strengthen the state’s capacity to build an effective mine action system. Such a system will allow Ukraine to clear explosive hazards (ERW) from its territory and restore destroyed infrastructure in the shortest possible time and with fewer resources — ensuring a safe and dignified life for Ukrainians.

We are proud that the members of our Association form a community of people guided by strong values — a community that cares not only about the results but also about the ways they are achieved.

Our strength lies in combining experience, technologies, and resources, which empowers the community itself and helps the country create new opportunities, restore its economic potential, and become a strong state that no aggressor will ever dare to attack again.

Association values:

  • transparency and openness;
  • competence;
  • professional integrity;
  • systemic approach
