A memorandum of cooperation has been signed between the Ukrainian Association for Humanitarian Demining and Recovery and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

The agreement focuses on integrating advanced technologies into mine action, as well as providing information, analytical, and logistical support to State Emergency Service demining units.
The memorandum, signed by Vitaly Myronyuk, First Deputy Chairman of the State Emergency Service, and Anushavan Arutyunyan, Chairman of the Association, serves as a foundation for the continued development of a strong partnership.
During a working meeting with Serhiy Oliynyk, Deputy Director of the Mine Action Department, the Association’s representatives discussed pressing challenges in mine action. All parties agreed on the urgent need to adopt innovative, high-tech approaches to expedite the clearing of land and water areas from mine contamination in Ukraine.
