The association changes its name - Ukrainian Association for Humanitarian Demining and Recovery
Ukraine is facing a profound crisis: war, devastation, and the loss of lives and homes. An estimated 144,000 square kilometers are potentially contaminated with mines and other hazardous objects.
In August 2023, we established the Ukrainian Association of Humanitarian Demining Operators with the mission to pave a safe future through effective and reliable humanitarian demining of the territories affected by Russian aggression.
Ukraine has already become a leader in fintech, govtech, and military technology, and now, we are poised to lead in demining. The Association was created to advance high-tech solutions in humanitarian demining.
Clearing these vast minefields is only the first stage of Ukraine’s recovery. What follows is reconstruction, renovation, and the creation of new infrastructure.
To reflect our expanded mission, we have renamed our organization to the Ukrainian Association of Humanitarian Demining and Recovery, emphasizing our commitment to the entire recovery process.
Our priorities include the agricultural sector, energy, oil and gas, construction, infrastructure, and industry. We rely on the expertise of specialists, organizations, and international partners to support Ukraine’s renewal.
