The Ukrainian Association of Humanitarian Demining Operators participated in the Forum-exposition "Population Safety in Times of War."
During the panel discussion, the Association’s coordinator, Andriy Savarets, remarked:
"Ukraine is already recognized as a leader in fintech and govtech, and it’s clear that we are destined to lead in demining as well. The extent of mine contamination requires speed, affordability, and efficiency. Technologies don’t replace existing expertise; they enhance it."
At the exhibition, the Association, along with its members, DEF-C and Abris, showcased their products - unmanned aerial vehicles and the IRIZI4Demining software.
The IRIZI4Demining program is a comprehensive project management system that includes a geoinformation system and a task manager.
The head of the Association, Anushavan Harutyunyan, stressed that the swift recovery of land for economic use is impossible without a high-tech approach. The association was formed, in part, to promote the adoption of advanced technologies in humanitarian demining efforts.
